I don't understand this question... Which three-dimensional figure has a cross section in the shape of a trapezoid if it is sliced by a plane that is parallel to a side other than its base? a cube a rectangular prism a square pyramid a right rectangular prism

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is a square pyramid. If you cut vertically down the pyramid on a spot other than the top vertex, you get a trapezoid.

All sides of a cube are bases, and the same can be said of rectangular prisms (they have no defined base). That itself should single out an answer. Hope this helps! :D
