solve f(x)=14/x-4; x=4 State whether the function is continuous at the indicated point. If not why?

Well if you plug it in you get 14/0 which is undefined at that point because of the zero in the denominator, what this looks like on a graph is on the right hand side of 4 you have an asymptote approaching positive infinity and on the left hand side you have an asymptote approaching negative infinity and therefore it is not continuous
