I have $500, it costs $6 a ride. Write a linear equation that expresses the amt of money left in terms f no. of rides I take

OpenStudy (anonymous):

We are looking for a linear equation, i.e. in the form Y=-Ax+B So the remaining money =Y. The issue is recognising the components. We start with a fixed amount of 500, and this reduces each time a ride is taken by $6.00 . so for n rides, the amount has gone down by n x $6 can you take it from here?
