OpenStudy (shadowfiend):
The circumference of a circle given the radius is defined as \(2\pi r\).
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ok. in the circle there is 5cm. How do I figure this
OpenStudy (shadowfiend):
If 5cm is the radius, then you multiply it by \(2\pi\). If it is the diameter, then the radius is 1/2 of that number.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
so the answer would be 15.7
OpenStudy (shadowfiend):
Sounds right :)
