OpenStudy (amanda):
thanks
OpenStudy (anonymous):
so the nearest 10th means the first decimal place
OpenStudy (anonymous):
so for example, 10.1 is "10 and one tenth"
OpenStudy (amanda):
thank you so much

ok so 10.12 - the *closest* tenth, that is, if you had to round to the nearest 10th, would be 10.1 , since 2 is closer to 0 than 10
OpenStudy (anonymous):
for your question, 7 is actually closer to 10 than 0
OpenStudy (anonymous):
so if you had to say 2309.07 is closer to either 2309.1 or 2309.0, you would have to say 2309.1
OpenStudy (amanda):
thankyou
OpenStudy (amanda):
your a life saver

its only if i have a question right
OpenStudy (anonymous):
heh well, you can use the lower right hand 'group chat' if you just want to chat. generally people ask questions on the left so people know where to answer
OpenStudy (anonymous):
and it gives you more space and the ability to insert equations if needed
