Think about it this way, if one cubic centimeter of aluminum weighs 2.7 grams, and you have a piece that weighs 5.4 grams, you can take the ratio of the two: So, 2.7grams = 1 cubic centimeter.... divide 5.4 grams by 1 cubic centimeter and you get 5.4\[\div\]2.7=2 The aluminum has a volume of 2 cubic centimeters.
