I need to find the distance between 2 points and answer in radical form. (2,1),(5,2)

Plot the two points and connect them with a line. Think of that line as the hypotenuse of a right triangle. Now draw the legs of that triangle -- one horizontal, one vertical. The Pythagorean theorem (\[a^2 + b^2 = c^2\] will now give you the distance you seek.
