Below is the sample: 82 125 79 113 92 110 141 113 82 97 120 113 97 From this data set, compute the sample mean, median, mode and midrange. Compute the 1st quartile and 3rd and interpret their meanings.

Mean is average (add them all up and divide by the number of numbers), median is the middle number (rewrite the set in ascending/descending order and pick the one in the middle), and mode is the number that occurs most frequently in the set. I'm not familiar with the other terms.
