If the problem is: \[\int\limits_{0}^{1} x ^{2}-x^{3} dx\] Your thought process should be what should I derivate to get x^2 and -x^3? When you have figured that out, you take the result and plug in x=1, which will give you a value. Then take x=0 and plug that in, which will also give you a value. take the x=1 value and subtract the x=0 value. There's your answer. Main thougt process here however is to solve the integration step, "what should I derive to get this?".
thank nytie :)
Np :)
\[\sqrt{x}\] Not x^2, I blame tiredness, doing my own studying :P Same process applies however, did you solve it?
integrate sqrt(x) and x^3 seperately.
