Hey just check this site. It got covered real good: http://www.cliffsnotes.com/study_guide/Relations-vs-Functions.topicArticleId-10792,articleId-10775.html it basically says that a function is a type of relation...relations have input and output...for any given input, it can have 1 or more outputs...a function is a type of relation in which every input has only one output... the domain of the relation is the set of possible inputs...the range is the set of possible outputs...check the site for further insight...it will help you...
