How do you figure if the line is intersecting, parallel, or perpendicular. with line 1 being y=0.15x+0.79 and second line being 0.11x-y=-0.85

Set the two equations equal to each other. If you can solve for x and get a real number, this is where they intersect. If you can't solve for x, they are parallel. If you find that the lines do intersect, you can rewrite the functions in y=mx+b form and if the slopes are inverses, then they are perpendicular.

Parallel lines have the same slope, like y = 2x + 1 and y = 2x + 5. Perpendicular lines have slopes whose product is -1. All lines except parallel lines intersect somewhere. For that, see above.
