OpenStudy (anonymous):

are we solving for y?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

multiply each side by 5 to get x-2y=5, then add 2y to get x = 5+2y, subtract 5 to get x-5=2y, then divide by to to solve for y....y=(x-5)/2
