OpenStudy (tonya):

if i get my haircut every six weeks and my teeth cleaned every six months and both were done today, when will I get both done on the same day again, write an equation

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

You get a haircut every six weeks. If x is the haircut number, then 6x is the week that the haircut took place. You get your teeth cleaned every six months. Six months is 6 * 4 = 24 weeks. That's 24 / 6 = 4 haircuts. So, you get your teeth cleaned every 4h, where h = 6x. Make sense?
