find the equation of each tangent line to the curve y=x cubed-3x that is perpendicular to the line 2x+18y-9=0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[y=x ^{3}-3x\]

Well the line that your tangents have to be perpendicular is the following: 2x+18y-9=0 y=-2x+9\[y=(-2x+9)\div18\] So by that we have the slope to be -2/18 or -1/9
