how would u graph y=2 to the x power and x={-4,-3,-2,-1,0,1,2,3}

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Make a table of x and y values. Since y = 2x x | y -4| (1/16) -3| (1/8) -2| (1/4) -1| (1/2) 0 | 1 1 | 2 2 | 4 3 | 8 Given this table of (x, y) coordinates, plot them on a graph.

OpenStudy (elizabeth):

how do i graph (1/16)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

at x = -4 on the graph, go up until you get to y = (1/16). Of course, you may not have your axis marked at (1/16), so you may have to eyeball it. It'll be really close to 0.
