8v + 6 = 3 + 12
are you asking to solve for v?
yes
1) 8v+6=15 2) 8v=15-6 3) 8v= 9 4) v=9/8
I see what you did but I don't understand can you explain
ok, so we start off with: 8v + 6 = 3 + 12 the original equation
we add the 12 and 3, and we get: 8v+6= 15
next, we subtract 6 on both sides, which gives us: 8v=9
we divide 8 on both sides, and lastly we get: v= 9/8 ( 9 over 8) we do all of this to get "v" isolated
Thanks, can I ask another question
sure
what grade, or math are you taking?
I'm in the 9th Grade , algrebra
oh really? what state? cuz im 9th taking precal...
