-1<(x^2)/2<1 , can anyone solve and give me the range for x??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-1<(x^2)/2<1 -2<(x^2)<2 sqrt(-2)<x<sqrt(2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so my range will be in complex number and it is 2i<x<(2^(1/2)) or we ignore the 2i and take -(2^(1/2))<x<(2^(1/2)) as the range

OpenStudy (anonymous):

most teachers dont go into imaginary numbers i would just leave both my 2s underneath the square root symbol...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you clarify this statement into an equation for the range..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\sqrt{-2}<x<\sqrt{2}\]

ok dude... thx a lot :)
