I think you wrote the the question wrong. Check for a typo, because a number, x cannot be less than -8 yet greater than 2 at the same time.

it can cosidering it is an "or" compound inequality. If it was and "and" compund inequality it wouldn't be right.

does it read 2x-7 divided by 6 or is 7 only divided by 6
