Simplify: (4x div y^3)^-3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Again distribute. (4x)^-3 in numerator and y^-9 in the denominator. When you simplify you have y^9/(64*x^3) since a negative sign in front of a power will make it switch from numerator to denominator or vice versa, depending on where it was originally located. Does that make sense?

yes, thanks
