< used as the angle sign since i dont know how to do that on a computer, anyways given: m

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmm... based on the given info, I got x = 57.2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how did you solve it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

when I sketched those angles out by their names, they made a complete full angle (360 degrees). So 2x+9+3x-2+67=360 and solve to get x=57.2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohh.. so the whole angle equal 67 degrees. does that make a difference making the whole thing 360 degrees.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It all depends on the letters they use. In this case RST, TSV, RSV, you may want to try sketching and you will notice they are referring to the 3 angles made at the same intersection of the 3 lines... hope that make sense... lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol ok yeahh it makes sense, i have the picture of it. ahhh im horrible with geometry! thanks for the help though!

Happy to help. ^^
