rules of exponents (write it down somewhere lol) this is all assuming the BASES are the SAME when you divide, subtract the exponents. when you multiply, add the exponents. exponent with another exponent (X²)³, you multiply the exponents X^6 and yes, -5. so A^-5 you could re-write as 1/A^5 :)
