it's just a line. when you draw it, start by putting a point on (0,3) and when you are going up, go up two, right one, that's another point and keep going.. when you are going down. go down two and left one. that's another point..

and when you are done connect all the points.

another way to figure the points( ordered pairs) would be to plug i numbers for x, like -2,-1,0,1,2 and get y. the you get y, and each y correspondent to that x is a point. plot the point and connect the points.
