Help with the following : 2x+y=4 with: ( ,4)

plug in x=4, so then 8+y=4, so y=-4. Answer: (-4, 4)

It only gives the "Y" It doesnt give the "X". How did you get 4 for "X"?

woops, i was wrong, sorry, plug in y=4, not x=4. So then it's 2x+4=4, so then 2x=0, so x=0. Answer: (0, 4).
