OpenStudy (yrivers36):

Equation of a line: parallel to the line y=7x+4 passing through the points (-2,4) and (0,3). I know how to find it with one point but now im thrown off.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is even easier! You can either use the same method you use for line pasing through one point, or you can find the gradient (change in y over change in x) using these two points and then find b by substituting and solving y=mx+b, finally replace the m with gradient

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so, the final answer is y=(3/-2)x + 1
