I was told to figure out a related rates problem and i have no clue how to solve it. This is the problem: Scott is at the top of a 32 ft ladder. How fast down the building is he when the ladder's 24 ft away?.... Any help would be greatly appreciated....

h = 32 w = 24 dh/dt = ? (change in height with respect to time) Make a equation to relate all three variables \[L^2=h^2+w^2\] ahh crud, i think ur missing dw/dt (change in width with respect to time, how fast ladder is sliding, sorry can you double check question?)
