A textile company has specific dyeing and drying times for its different cloths. A require 75 minutes of dyeing time and 50 minutes of drying time. A roll of Cloth b requires 55 minutes of dyeing and 25 minutes of drying timme. The production division allocates 2380 minutes of dyeing and 1400 minutes of drying time for the week. How many rolls of each cloth can be dyed and dried?
Calculate how much of A gets dyed and how much B gets dyed (You have to round down to the lowest whole number because fractional amounts will not count as completed, for example 1.7 is still 1). A = 31 B = 43 do the same for drying so A = 28 B = 56. You then take the least of the two pairs so the lesser of the two for A is 28 and the lesser for B is 43. So there are 28 completed A's and 43 completed B's.
Please help with equation..the answers are not correct. Thank you,
