Derivative of a function is the function which gives the tangent of the slope of the curve at that point.
Mathematically it can also be said that a derivative is the ratio of the small change in the dependent variable to a small change in the independent variable

Integration is the reverse process of evaluating a derivative. Graphically, it is simply the area under the given curve. We divide the curve into small elements and calculate the area of the rectangle whose length is f(x) and breadth dx. Then we add up the areas of these small elements
