Hi, does anybody know how to solve lim x – 3 ------ x→2 I x – 3 I where the absolute value of x - 3 is the denominator ? Thank You

most calc teachers will tell you you can just plug in the 2 here. some call this direct substitution. the question is more interesting if x approaches 3.
