Find the formula for the function using the following statements...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lim as x approaches + or - infinity is 0, lim as x approaches 0 is -infinity

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So I need to find a rational function with these statements in mind...how do you go about doing that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1/x doesn't work because the limit from the right at 0 is infinity but the limit from the left is -infinity. Can you think of the way to fix this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah I'm not sure, there must be a way to do this without much guess work
