ok, so you treat this as a normal equation you would be solving for.
jow ever, because its an absolute value
however* you will have to solve for two equations: 2x-5<1 and -2x-5<1
let's do the first one: 2x-5<1 2x<1+5 2x<6 x>6/2 x>3
