mixture a is 30% sugar, 15% cinnamon, and the rest is flour. mixture b is 3/4 and 1/4 flour. If we combine 2 cups of mixture A with 5 cups of mixture B and 1 cup of flour, what percent of the resulting mixture will be flour?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how much is a cup? are you supposed to convert or something?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first get all of the same type (pick percent, decimal, fraction, etc.)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B is 75% sugar and 25% flour

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 30% sugar, 15% cinnamon, 75% sugar, 25% flour, correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now this problem is not possible unless you clarify how much % a cup is.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A IS 30 % SUGAR, 15% CINNAMON, 55% FLOUR B IS 75% SUGAR, 25% FLOUR

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok well this makes no sense unless you know what percent a cup is.
