Suppose x is a number between 2 and 27. For how many different values of x is (square root of x over 17) a rational number?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

only those numbers that are perfect squares, 4, 9, 16, 25

OpenStudy (oaktree):

Right. Because only those would come out to integers, the others would come out to radical whatever.

OpenStudy (oaktree):

So that's four integers.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes
