2x + 3 < 1 How do you write this out?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x > -1

I got that part, but how do you write it out ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just like that?? What do you mean by "write it out?"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Algebra. subtract 3 from both sides to get 2x < -2. Then divide both sides by two, and since you divided, switch the symbol around, so its x > -1.
