Divide by -2 -10/-2 > -20/-2 5 > 10 False. Now flip the sign like they asked: 5 < 10 True. What you are supposed to gain from this is the realization that when you add or subtract, the equality remains unchanged and if you began with a true statement, you end with a true statement (without the need for changing the sign).
