Determine which one of the ordered pairs below is a solution of the system of linear inequalities. x>-3 y>-1 y≤4-(2x/3) a. (-1,-9) b. (-7,-9) c. (2, 2) d. (-1, 5) e. (3, -3)

This one will probably take the least effort to just take it logically by elimination. Look at x>-3. How many of your answers do not have an x value greater than -3? Those are gone. Look at y>-1, how many of the answers do not have a y coordinate greater than -1? Those are gone too. Finally, what coordinate has a y value less than equal to 4 minus double the x divided by three? That is your answer.

First test: B is immediately eliminated. X is not greater than -3. Second test: A and E are eliminated. Y is not greater than -1.

Left with: C and D

Final test: Plug in C and D's X and Y values, evaluate. Answer.

so I think my answer is d then

no wait it would be c because 2≤2.67
