hi i need help with grouping into tens and ones. (im in 1st grade) can anyone help me?

ok so it depends on the on the number your using. so if you take the number 13 you will have to find out how many ones,tens,and well ones again that you need. so to get to 13 i would need 10, tens and 3 ones. there you go! hope it helped you!

Group 28: 10 + 10 + 1 + 1 + 1 +1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 You can see that you need TWO 10's and EIGHT 1's Group 53: 10 +10 +10 +10 +10 + 1 +1 +1 That is FIVE 10s and THREE 1s Hope it helped! :D
