In the problem: integral((x^2+4)/(3X^3+4x^2-4)), can I divide the denominator by 3, and then factor to find the roots when doing partial fraction expansion?

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

try factoring the bottom and doing partial fractions.. that's what I would do and make sure the problem is correct, cuz dunno why, but wolframalpha can't solve it..

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

and I did put a lower case x in case of 3x^3
