I need help on factoring trinomials, 2x^2+11x+5!

(2x + 1)(x + 5)

Ok I know what the answer is but I need to know how to get to that answer.

The way I thought of it was that I needed the 2x and x for part of the terms so I had (2x + a)(x + b). I knew that both a and b were positive (because all the terms in the expanded form are positive). Listing my factors of 5 got me 1, 5 and that was it. From there it's just a matter of trying (2x + 5)(x +1) or (2x + 1)(x + 5) and seeing which one expanded to the correct answer.
