what is 3x^2-7x+4=0

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

D = (-7)^2 - 4 * 3 * 4 = 49 - 48 = 1 x1 = [-(-7)-sqrt(1)](2*3) = [7 -1]/6 = 6/6 = 1 x2 = [-(-7)+sqrt(1)](2*3) = [7 +1]/6 = 8/6 = 4/3
