Describe the y values change relative to the change in the x value

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The x valuees are 10,12,14,16 y 7,9,11,13 9 (x,y) 10,7 12,9 14,11 16,13

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if y is your dependent variable and x is you independent variable, this means that y is a function of x, resulting in the y values changing relative the x values

OpenStudy (anonymous):

THATS THE ANSWER.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

which one?

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

What you have to do is see if there's something that relates the x value and y value for each ordered point. For example, what is the relation between 10 and 7? 12 and 9?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

could u tell me the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh I totally didn't see you problem... lol, I thought you wanted someone to describe you a general case

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well im just asking for the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol gotcha

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

Nope. 'Fraid you have to use the help here to find the answer :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):
