solve this integral
\[\int\limits_{}\sqrt{tanx}dx\]
DAMNNNNN!!! that would be a great joke on a test
Yeah it would...you would need to use Gamma functions/hyper geometric functions to solve it
Yea I just joined this site today thinking I was all that in math cuz im the best in my calc 3 and differential equations class but ive come to realize that I have soo much more to learn before I can even concider myself the calculus stud lol
Your not the only one...... but this online study forum is pretty bad retrice I learned two new trick to integrating problems yeaterday
Yea dude i plan on getting really involved its the only place ive been able to find people that actually want my help.... i just started spring break at my school and on my facebook i said that i would give free tutoring to anyone that was interested during the break...i have a lot of "friends" at school and only a couple agreed but they didnt seem to care that much...its actually quite frightening
That's how it is dude
Hey solve this \[\int\limits_{}e^xcos(x)dx\]
i got [(e^x)(sinx-cosx)]/2
yeah that's it by the way I just figured out how to solve \[\int\limits_{}\sqrt{tanx}dx\]
it's going to take me while though
Yea idk if you looked up the solution...dont if you think you can solve it but its very long...are you saying that solving it like the way i assume we both solved the integral you gave me wont require knowledge of gamma functions etc....
yeah without gamma or hypergeometric functions
but it looks ugly and long
Yeaaaa.... I'm going to finish this tomorrow but here's a hint start with u substitution I'm out, good luck
lol good looks i think ill just sit on thins one for a few weeks while im learning
and after the u sub your going to have to find x in terms of u and back substitute back into the integral and then it gets crazy....try it,have fun
