I may not be thinking clearly, but I believe a log raised to the power is the same thing as whatever the power was times the log. So I think it would look like (2x*log(256))/log4 Now since 256 is a multiple of 4 (specifically 4^4), you can simplfiy this even more since log(256)/log(4)= 4: So then we have 2x*4 8x.
