Use d=Vit+0.5at^2 d will be -1.5m using the foot height as a starting point of 0. Vi will be 10m/s. a will be -9.81 since down is negative. Solving the quadratic you get 2.18 or -0.14. Negative time is nonsensical, so its 2.18
