A promotional deal for long distance phone service charges a $15 basic fee plus $0.05 per min for all calls. If Joe's phone bill was $75 under this promotional deal, how many mins of phone calls did he make? when i worked this out i got 1,800 mins bu ti don't know if that's right Can some one help me

75 = 15 + .05x 60 = .05x 60/ .05 = x so x = 1200 minutes

yeah they were really stupid because the entire thing made me miss a whole problem

Some times you just get to involved in a test some times, and over look pellet that you should have seen

haha yeah no kidding. that stuff on that exam was tough though. they had like little tricks that were involved. one of them involved using euler's constant to find the limit of an infinite sum. so i just made things up that weren't correct
