this one has lots of words.. but i dont get it ... AUTOMOBILE tires ate mounted on circular metal rims. if a tire rim has a 13- inch diameter, what is its circumference?

my begging was to grab ur attention lmao and i suck... ;D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

circumference is given by \[C = 2\pi r\] Since we have the diameter and not the radius, we first need to use the fact that the diameter is two times the radius. So if d = 13, then \[r = \frac{13}{2}\] Now you just plug this r into the circumference formula.

OK TY.
