treat A as {1,2,0} so when you set up your cross product chart you get i j k -i -j over 1 2 0 1 2 over 3 4 5 3 4 then when you solve the equation out you get 10i+0j+4k-0i-3j-6k=0 or 10i-3j-2k=0 hope that helps
