OpenStudy (sgadi):
\[\pi\approx3.1415\]
OpenStudy (anonymous):
well it is 42 as the circumference and u half to multiply it by a peice of pie and the find the radis
OpenStudy (anonymous):
this is so hard

Are you trying to solve for the radius of a circle when the circumference is given?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
no it is where u half to have the diameter and u half to multiply by a peice of pie= and so on
OpenStudy (anonymous):
\[42\times3.14 i think\]
OpenStudy (sgadi):

we started learning pi in 5th but i never get no help
OpenStudy (sgadi):
The formula for circumference of a circle is
\[C=2\pi r=\pi D\]
where C is circumference
r is radius
D is diameter.
so give that circumference is 42.
if you need diameter then you get
\[D=\frac{C}{\pi}=\frac{42}{\pi}=\frac{42}{3.1415}\]
