The switches are lined up horizontally and are numbered 1 - 5 from left to right. But instead of just turning them off anyway here are some rules: -The farthest left switch may be changed (turned on or off) no matter what position the other switches are at -Any other switch may be changed only if the switch to its' immediate left is on and all other switches to its left are off.
