hi! i need some help with math right now. i need to figure out how to simplify and add these two fractions together... (2x)/(x+2)*(3x+6)/(x^2) thanks!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

time both fractions to yield (6x^2+12x)/[x^2(x+2)]. then, factorise nominator to get [6x(x+2)]/[x^2(x+2)] then u can cancel out x(x+2)

alright, thank you so much! also, are you supposed to always switch the numerator and the denominator around when you multiply?
