DR walker instructed Garette to take 2tsps full of medicine 3 times per day. if one tsp is about 5ml. how much medicine would he take each day? If the bottle holds 120 ml, how many days would the bottle of medicine last

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Garette has to take 2tsps 3 times per day, so in one day, he will take 2 x 3 = 6tsps per day. One tsp contains 5mL. Garret takes six of these, so he takes 6 x 5mL = 30mL. So now we know how much he takes in a day. We want to find out how many days worth of medicine there is in the bottle. One day tales out 30mL, and we have 120mL to share out, so the number of days will be 120mL/(30mL per day) =4 days.
